Already at the
beginning of the 19th century the Herr's manufactured Black-Forest
cuckoo clocks. This tradition
, based on skilled craftmanship, know-how and up-to-date
environmentally concious production methods, guarantee the high quality
of Hubert Herr
cuckoo clocks. Starting from the raw material wood and metal up to the
fully assembled clock, all is made in the 2 factories in
Triberg/Black-Forest, Germany.
Hubert Herr cuckoo clocks are exported in more then 60 countries.
Hubert Herr is the only manufacturer making the carvings, cases and
producing it's own movements. Only genuine wood, pine and linde, is
used to make this beautiful clocks. All Hubert Herr clocks are
guaranteed hand carved.

Hekas
Hekas was
established in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer and is still producing high
quality cuckoo clocks. As one of the few producers, Hekas can offer the
whole range of Black Forest Clocks, starting with the souvenier clock
to the prestigious cuckoo clock. Hekas has it's own carpenter shop
producing cases and templates for the carvings to ensure that Hekas
Cuckoo clocks are entirely produced in the Black Forest. As in the past
as well as today the carvings are made by skilled craftsmen, ensuring
that all Hekas cuckoo clocks are hand made.

August Schwer
In the 1885 in
the Blackforest town of Schonach, August Schwer, the host of the famous
Hotel Schlossberg
, built his first cuckoo clock. This was the beginning of what was
destined to be one of the premier manufacturers of cuckoo
clocks in the Black Forest of Germany. For over 4 generations the
Schwer family owned and operated August Schwer Black Forest Cuckoo
Clocks- producing more
clocks than any other Black Forest clock manufacturer. In the year
2000, the company was acquired by Andy Winter who had spend more than
15 years in various management positions within the company. August
Schwer clocks
have won numerous awards for their design and superior craftmanship.
